It is a sad fact that some of the ferrets that come to our shelter are terminally ill or battling serious diseases; some of which are curable and others merely manageable. It's unfortunate when we are left with a sick ferret, who if given proper care to begin with might have had a stronger chance of survival. Because we are a "no-kill" shelter and we will give our ferrets every chance to overcome health obstacles, we are often left with expensive veterinary bills. Any contribution towards our outstanding bills or credit towards meeting the health need of our ferrets in the future is greatly appreciated.
