The Ferret Aid Society is run 100% on a volunteer basis, we have no paid employees and rely on the generosity of our helpers to keep us going. If you'd like to make a donation or your time, please continue to our volunteer section.

One of the ways you can contribute to the health of the shelter is by donating items from our wish list or by aiding in the paymnent of our veterinary bills.

All donations over $10 to the shelter are tax deductible.

  • You can sign up to contribute regularly through the United Way as well. All you have to do is specify you would like your donations to come to The Ferret Aid Society, Charity # 87565 4220 RR0001 and let them take care of the rest. Some work places even offer a "matching gift" option where they will match your gift to FAS.

  • To receive an American tax receipt you may utilize SOS (Support Our Shelters) through PayPal (please indicate the donation is for the Ferret Aid Society) or by sending a cheque to Support Our Shelters, 100 Walsh Road, Lansdowne, PA 19050 (610) 626-6647. Please indicate in the subject line of a cheque made out to Support our Shelters that the donation is for the Ferret Aid Society.
